The House Labor Committee deliberates legislation relating to workers' compensation and labor laws. The House Committee on Veterans' Affairs handles all legislation impacting the lives of Rhode Island veterans and those currently in military service. Speaker of the House Gordon D. Fox made the announcement on Thursday, Jan. 10. Representative Casey is one of 16 freshman members of the House of Representatives this year.
