Free Tax Preparation for Low to Moderate Income Families

Woonsocket— Starting January 29, 2018, Community Care Alliance is providing FREE Income Tax Preparation for families with incomes less than $57,000 through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Schedule an appointment by calling 401-235-7224. All preparers are certified by the IRS, and will help with e-filing for faster returns, and with getting tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and Childcare Tax Credit. Tax preparation will be held at Community Care Alliance at the 65 Main Street site in Woonsocket on Mondays and Thursdays from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M; Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M; and Saturdays: 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
