WOONSOCKET—A city man has been arrested following a shooting on Carrington Avenue early Monday, but he's not the man who pulled the trigger, police said.Garyn O'Hagan, 26, is facing charges of possession of a firearm with an altered serial number and possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence."O'Hagan is not being charged in the shooting and the investigation into who is responsible is ongoing," police said in a post on the department's <a href="https://www.facebook.com/woonsocketpolice/photos/a.648223238546747.1073741830.144595788909497/1008911919144542/?type=3&amp;theater" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Facebook page.</a> Police<a href="https://patch.com/rhode-island/woonsocket/woonsocket-police-investigating-shooting-0"> said someone opened fire on a building but nobody was injured. </a>Detectives had marked off an area of Carrington Avenue with crime scene tape as they investigated early Monday morning.Detectives found the gun in O'Hagan's apartment.If anyone has information, police request a call to 401-766-1212.
