• 13-year-old hit by fire department vehicle in Woonsocket (wpri.com) — A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized with minor injuries after police say he ran into the path of a Woonsocket Fire Department supervisory vehicle on Rathbun Street Tuesday night. The deputy fire chief was returning from an emergency call when the collision happened around 8 p.m. Officials say the teen was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital and is expected to recover.
