20 Privilege Street contained two buildings: a main 192,440-square-foot mill and a secondary 27,000-square-foot building.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Almost exactly a week after a fire destroyed a mill in Woonsocket, a second blaze broke in an adjacent mill building early Sunday morning, according to fire officials.
The first fire occurred early morning on July 29 in a vacant four-story commercial mill at 20 Privilege Street, officials said. The second fire was reported in a building at the same address overnight Sunday.
According to multiple online listings, 20 Privilege Street was built in 1902 and renovated in 1980. It contained two buildings: a main 192,440-square-foot mill and a secondary 27,000-square-foot building with two freight elevators, multiple staircases, and finished offices.
