Wanted Woonsocket Man Nabbed: Cops

The Woonsocket man was picked up on five failure to appear warrants and a couple new charges, police said.

WOONSOCKET, RI — A wanted Woonsocket man was captured Wednesday morning, police said.

Troopers arrested Dennis Boulden, 34, shortly after 10 a.m., the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Boulden was wanted on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant charging him with failing to appear for a pretrial conference in a domestic violence — disorderly conduct case, a Providence Superior Court full bench warrant charging him with failing to appear for a pretrial conference in a larceny and conspiracy case, another Providence Superior Court Full bench warrant charging him with failing to appear for a pretrial conference in a duty to stop in an accident resulting in injury, yet another Providence Superior Court full bench warrant charging with failing to appear for a violation of bail hearing in a larceny and conspiracy case, and still another Providence Superior Court full bench warrant charging him with failing to appear for a violation of bail hearing in a duty to stop in an accident resulting in injury, the release said.

Boulden also was arrested on charges of domestic violence — violation of a protection order and operating with a suspended license, according to the release.

Boulden was apprehended during a traffic stop on Londsdale Avenue in Lincoln, the release said, and was "transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Third Division District Court to be presented as a bail violator."
