WOONSOCKET, RI — It appears Mayor Christopher Beauchamp will get another term in Woonsocket.
According to unofficial results, Beauchamp leads with 5,5,26 votes over John Ward, who garnered 5,128. This is with 100 percent of precincts reported.
All eyes, of course, are on the presidential race between main party candidates vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald J. Trump. Beyond the presidential race, Rhode Island voters weighed in on races for U.S. senate, Congress, state senate, the state house, and bond questions. Woonsocket also voted for school committee and city council candidates.
