WOONSOCKET, RI—The first parking ban to be declared in Rhode Island ahead of the first truly significant winter storm of the season is here in Woonsocket.The city has instituted the parking ban to run from noon Saturday until noon Sunday.After the threat of major snowfall steadily diminished all week, some computer models this morning have moved the storm track more north, which increases the expected snowfall totals.
