Woonsocket Woman Stole More Than $10K: Cops
The Woonsocket woman obtained property worth more than $10,000 under false pretenses, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A wanted Woonsocket woman was apprehended Sunday afternoon, police said.
Breanna Northup, 32, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. and charged with obtaining property worth more than $10,000 under false pretenses, fraudulently obtaining assistance and making a false statement to obtain replacement public assistance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Northup was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed and later transported to the Sixth District Court for arraignment," the release said.
