  1. A new proposal has been presented to turn Charleston County School District's Burke High School into a magnet school. The proposal was presented to the district's Constituent Board on Monday. The school's attendance has dwindled throughout the last ten years; due to those attendance issues, the district is not able to offer the school's students the same opportunities as other district schools. The proposal is meant to restore the school to its former glory by giving it new life. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. A Boeing Dreamlifter aircraft lost a wheel assembly while en route to the Charleston International Airport. The aircraft was operated by Atlas Air and departed from Italy's Taranto-Grottaglie Airport. Thankfully, the aircraft was able to safely land at the airport on Tuesday morning. (wpde.com)
  3. The City of Charleston has made a $250,000 donation to the Anson Memorial project. The donation will be used to build a memorial to honor the 36 people of African and Native American descent that were discovered at the Gaillard Center almost ten years ago.
