The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, honored the following cadets and active duty military students with Gold Stars for academic excellence during the fall semester of the 2010-2011 academic year.
Gold Stars are awarded to students that achieve a 3.7 grade point average or higher.

The Gold Stars are worn on the collars of the full dress and dress uniforms and above the right shirt pocket of the summer leave uniform. Students who earn Gold Stars are also placed on the Dean's List, which recognizes students registered for 12 or more semester hours whose grade point ratio is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester's work.
Gold Star and Dean's List students will be recognized during The Citadel's Jan. 27 military dress parade, which begins at 3:45 p.m. on Summerall Field.
