• CSU celebrates graduates (postandcourier.com) — Charleston Southern University just honored more than 200 new graduates at its Dec. 19 commencement, featuring HCA Healthcare Charleston president Jeff Wilson as guest speaker. Wilson urged students to lead with compassion, adaptability, and growth, while longtime supporter Roger Nielsen received an honorary business doctorate recognizing his deep philanthropic and mentoring ties to CSU and its business school.
   

• Seacoast Church replaces trash bags with Journey Bags' for children entering foster care (abcnews4.com) — Children entering foster care in Charleston County are among hundreds across the Lowcountry receiving “Journey Bags” instead of trash bags, thanks to Seacoast Church’s donation drive. The bags, packed with essentials and comfort items, aim to restore dignity during traumatic transitions. Residents can fill or fund bags at any Seacoast campus through January 4.
