Armed Robbery at West Ashley Bar

A man called Charleston Police Saturday, April 21 after someone held him up in the parking lot at Famous Joes bar at 1662 Savannah Highway.

He told police someone approached him as he walked to his car and demanded his money. The robber also took his cell phone and car keys. He said the man may have been hiding behind the dumpster next to his car. After the robbery he fled toward Balsam Street.
