Investigators believe he confronted people breaking into his storage area and was shot, and they’re again asking anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office detective handling the case.
   

4. Bencic enters Credit One CHS Open (postandcourier.com) — Charleston tennis fans can look forward to Belinda Bencic returning for the 2026 Credit One Charleston Open, where she’s a former champion. The March 28–April 5 tournament at Credit One Stadium will feature several top-15 players and, starting in 2026, will offer equal prize money, underscoring Charleston’s growing prominence on the WTA Tour.
