Charleston County deputies seek information in deadly 2018 shooting (wistv.com) — Charleston County deputies are renewing their call for information about the 2018 killing of 39-year-old Aubrey Zanders, who was shot outside his Ashley Hall Road home after reportedly confronting a suspected burglar. Investigators say no arrests have been made and are urging anyone with tips to contact the sheriff’s office or email the county tip line.
   

2. Charleston Co. Schools' internship program helping special needs students moves to MUSC (postandcourier.com) — Charleston County special-needs students are now completing their school-year internships at MUSC, gaining hands-on experience in hospital support roles like linens, food service, and central supply. The district partners with MUSC and state vocational rehab to help interns build job skills, with the ultimate goal of securing paid employment after graduation.
   

3. The ‘Swamp Fox' Who Put the British Lion on the Run and Changed War for a Century (dailysignal.com) — Charleston’s fall to the British in 1780 set the stage for Francis Marion’s daring guerrilla campaigns that helped keep the Revolution alive in South Carolina. Blaine scores 23 as Charleston Southern beats Richmond 77-72 (live5news.com) — Charleston-area hoops fans can celebrate as Charleston Southern’s Buccaneers rallied past Richmond 77–72 behind 23 bench points from Brycen Blaine. The road win, powered by an 11–0 second-half run and double-figure scoring from A’lahn Sumler and Jesse Hafemeister, moves CSU to 9–6 and keeps local college basketball momentum rolling.
