  1. A Wallethub study has named Charleston as the Best Retirement City in the United States. The list compiles a ranking based on factors of affordability, activities, quality of life, and healthcare. Charleston scored 58.97 — the highest on the list. The next highest was Orlando, FL with a 58.23. (Wallethub)
  2. The Charleston Police Department reports that two individuals were arrested on Sunday night for unlawfully carrying firearms downtown. Shaquan Shelton, 31 years old, and Donovan Williams, 30 years old, were arrested during separate incidents along King Street. Williams' firearm had its serial number obliterated. (WCBD News 2)
  3. The Charleston Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at Pinnacle Bank on Folly Road. The suspect was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Thankfully, no one was injured during the robbery. (Live 5 News WCSC)
