  1. Lawsuits meant to stop Charleston's removal of John C. Calhoun's statue removal has been dropped. The lawsuits were funded by the American Heritage Association and filed by Calhoun's descendants. The association has filed other lawsuits meant to stop the removal of Confederate monuments in Charleston. (WCBD News 2)
  2. The Walk to Fight Hunger has raised $90,000 for the Lowcountry Food Bank's efforts. The organization feeds residents experiencing food insecurity in 10 coastal counties. The walk had 375 participants on Sunday at Wannamaker Park. The organization has already set an even higher fundraising goal for 2023. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. A crash on I-526 westbound blocked all lanes on the Don Holt bridge for nearly two hours last night. The crash was reported around 5:10 p.m. on Sunday and was reported as cleared by about 7:00 p.m. by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
