Here are the top three stories today in Charleston:
- The North Charleston Police Department has arrested an individual in connection to a bomb threat. According to the department, Richard Lamont Anderson, 27, was arrested in connection to the threats made against Cummins Turbo Technologies in Palmetto Commerce. He has been charged with providing false information to the authorities. (WCBD News 2)
- Charleston County is searching for non-profits to manage Critical Home Repair projects. Qualified applicants will have experience in managing a home repair program in the Tri-County area. The deadline to submit project bids is Sep. 16 at 3:00 p.m. Click to apply. (Holy City Sinner)
- Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is searching for new detention deputies for Al Cannon Detention Center. The department will be conducting weekly jail tours for individuals interested in the open positions.
