On Monday the Charleston Police Department responded to two West Ashley burglaries.

Early Sunday morning Police were called to an apartment on Applebee Way where someone had stolen the victim's TV, DVD player and cable box, according to a Charleston Police Department report. The resident told police he believed his keys were stolen while he was visiting a friend's apartment by an individual that left that location prior to him.

Police found no signs of forced entry at the victim's apartment, and the victim said he locked up before he left around midnight. He returned home without his keys around 2:30 a.m., according to the report.

Police also responded to a home on Westchase Drive where someone broke a bedroom window, but apparently never entered the home, according to a separate report. The damage occurred between 6 p.m. Sept. 21 and 10:30 p.m. Sept. 24.
