Burning Truck Stops Traffic

A Ford F250 caught fire on St. Andrews Boulevard Thursday afternoon stopping traffic along the road for a time

Shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday a 1999 Ford F250 burst into flames on St. Andrews Boulevard near the intersection of Sheldon Road.

The driver was not hurt, but Charleston Police blocked off traffic on the road while Charleston Firefighters doused the blaze.

"It was making a funny noise and started smoking," the driver of the truck told Patch.com. "I pulled over and jumped out and the damn thing was on fire."
