Candlelight Vigil Set for Anniversary of Allison Griffor Murder
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is holding a candlelight vigil to remember Allison Griffor a year after she was killed.

A year after someone fired a shotgun through the front door of a Pierpont Avenue apartment, killing 5-year-old Allison Griffor, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office will hold a candlelight vigil for her.
CCSO's Victim’s Advocate Office and the Homicide Support Group organized the vigil, set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Park Circle in North Charleston.
Sheriff Al Cannon didn't mince words in the weeks following the shooting on Oct. 25, 2011, calling the gunman a "scumbag" and vowing to catch the person responsible. But there have been no developments in the case.

However Cannon said on Tuesday his investigators have a "good idea" who may have been involved in the crime. He said that some or all of them may already be in jail on other charges, but investigators have not been able to link anyone to the Griffor murder yet, nor has the murder weapon been found, Live5News reports.
