Chief Greg Mulled called the appointment an honor for both Newsome and the department.

Appointment to the PAB will give me a platform to provide feedback, both positive and negative, to Ford management and engineering teams. It is an opportunity to represent not only the Charleston Police Department but all law enforcement agencies in the southeastern region. The next PAB will be responsible for identifying refinements and improvements on the latest generation Ford Interceptor.
