Charleston On List Of 10 Tastiest Towns

The Holy City keeps racking up accolades like Bart Simpson does detentions, so appearing on yet another top 10 list probably won't surprise anyone, especially when the list in question ranks culinary meccas in the south.

Charleston will be one of 10 cities appearing in Southern Living's list of the "Tastiest Towns in the South" when its new issue hits newstands on Dec. 23. And the magazine is leaving it up to readers to choose the top town beginning that same day.

Charleston will be going up against Baltimore, Md.; Houston, Texas; Birmingham, Ala.; Lafayette, La.; Louisville, Ky.; Charlottesville, Va.; New Orleans; Decatur, Ga.; and Raleigh, N.C.
