Charleston Police Seeking Fugitive with Violent Past

The Charleston Police Department is asking residents to be on the lookout for a fugitive wanted for financial transaction card fraud.

Deon Antonio Rambert, 35, is believed to have returned to the Charleston area, according to a CPD statement. In addition to the fraud charge, a warrant for driving under suspension is also outstanding on Rambert. Police caution that he has a history of violent crime and narcotics.

Rambert's last known address in the Charleston area was 1166 King St. Anyone with information about him is asked to call 720-3913.
