Charleston Restaurant Week 2013 Includes Several West Ashley Options
The winter edition of Charleston Restaurant Week 2013 includes nine West Ashley restaurants

The Holy City is known for its cuisine, and the semi-annual Charleston Restaurant weeks help area chefs show off their kitchen skills.
While much of the focus on Charleston restaurants tends to center around fine dining establishments in the historic downtown district, great food is abounds off the peninsula as well. (See the full list of participating restaurants here.)
Nine West Ashley restaurants, as well as a handful of spots on James Island, Folly Beach, John's Island and Kiawah, are taking part in the winter Charleston Restaurant Week 2013, beginning today. With restaurants offering 3-for-$20, 3-for-$30 and 3-for-$40 deals Jan. 10-20, there's something to try in every price range.

Participating restaurants include Al-Di-La, La Fontana, Manny's Neighborhood Grille, Nirlep Indian Restaurant and West Ashley Crab Shack offering three menu items for $20. Gennaro's Little Italy, The Original Ms. Rose's and Med Bistro are all offering 3-for-$30 deals, and Middleton Place Restaurant is offering a 3-for-$40 deal.
Charleston Restaurant Week is a project of the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, which is also offering a free CRA smartphone app that puts all the information and tips about Restaurant Week at users' fingertips.

Several West Ashley restaurants in the Avondale Point Business District will followup Charleston Restaurant Week again with another Avondale Restaurant Week, Jan. 21-27. Participating restaurants include Triangle Char & Bar, Al-Di-La, Mellow Mushroom Avondale, Pearlz Little Oyster Bar and The Roost.
