Children Left in Car at Mall, Parents Charged with Neglect
The parents of two small children left unattended in a car at Citadel Mall are facing child neglect charges

Charleston Police charged the parents of two small children left alone in a car at Citadel Mall with child neglect on Sunday.
Antron Gibbs, 28, and Sierra Ancrum, 25, each face two charges of neglect of child stemming from the incident, according to information provided by the Al Cannon Detention Center. Gibbs also faces an open container of alcohol charge.
The bond amount set for each of the child neglect charges was $12,500, or $25,000 for each Gibbs and Ancrum. An additional $262 bond was added for the open container charge.

Police were called to the mall parking lot outside JCPenny around 5 p.m. Sunday when a witness noticed one of the children standing outside of the car with is pants and underwear around his ankles, according to reporting by Live5News. The child had apparently urinated on himself.
The parents reportedly told officers they left the children in the car around 4 p.m. Both children have been turned over to the care of grandparents.
