UPDATE 12:40 p.m.: The accident on Chisolm Road has been cleared and the road is again open to traffic, according to a Charleston County Sheriff's Office statement. A four-vehicle collision involving an overturned dump truck sent two people to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries late Tuesday morning. The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has closed Chisolm Road, which intersects with Main Road on John's Island while the accident is investigated and cleared, acording to a CCSO statement. No information was available about the cause of the accident as of 11:15 a.m.
