Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:
- The City of Charleston reports that Hurricane Ian's debris cleanup should be completed by the end of the week. The city's employees have been working for nearly a month on the cleanup effort. About seven million pounds of yard waste has been collected through 275 truckloads. The debris has been used for mulch and compost. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry will be hosting its fourth annual BIG Lowcountry Boil on Saturday, Dec. 3. The popular event will be at Holy City Brewing in North Charleston from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event's proceeds will be used to support the organization's one-to-one mentoring programs. - The Charleston Police Department responded to a rollover crash on Monday morning in downtown Charleston. The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Meeting Street at Spring Street. The crash temporarily caused delays through Meeting Street. As of Monday evening, it is unclear if anyone was injured during the crash. (Live 5 News WCSC)
