District 11 Runoff Tomorrow
If you live in Charleston District 11 don't forget to vote tomorrow
CHARLESTON - The City Council District 11 election is one of two Charleston area runoffs happening tomorrow. The other is on Folly Beach.
In the first round candidates Bill Moody and Laura Dukes Beck came away with the two highest vote totals, but neither crossed the 50 percent plus 1 vote threshold to sew up the election, so they are on the ballot again tomorrow. Moody finished with 915 votes for 43.39 percent, Beck got 657 votes for 31.15 percent, and Andy Brack placed third with 533 votes for 25.27 percent.
Polls will be open at seven West Ashley locations 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Check our list below to make sure you know where to go.
