  1. A downtown Charleston apartment shooting resulted in an individual sustaining a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on Saturday night at a Bridgeview Apartment shortly after 10:00 p.m. The Charleston Police Department reports there is currently no information on a suspect in the shooting investigation. (Live 5 News)
  2. The recreational harvest season for shellfish will start on Saturday in Charleston. The season will remain open through May 15, 2023. The season may be cut short or extended depending on weather conditions. The shellfish season includes clams and oysters. Oyster harvesters are reminded to recycle the shells. (KPVI)
  3. According to the state's Energy Office, Charleston County currently leads South Carolina in homes with rooftop solar. The county currently has more than 4,000 homes with rooftop solar installed. Solar prices have declined by more than 50 percent in South Carolina over the last 10 years. (Subscription: The Post and Courier)
