Flash Flood Watch Issued in Charleston Area
The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a flash flood watch for Charleston County through Wednesday morning

Update:Â A flood advisory has been issued for west central Berkeley County and Dorchester County, according to the National Weather Service.
The area is expected to see minor flooding or poor drainage associated with Tropical Depression Beryl. The advisory is active until midnight. Two to three inches is expected in the area.

At 3:53 p.m. Tuesday the National Weather Service in Charleston issued a flash flood watch for Charleston County until early Wednesday morning.
The warning covers areas of southeastern South Carolina including Allendale, Beaufort, Charleston, Dorchester and Hampton counties, coastal areas of Colleton and Jasper counties, inland Berkeley, Colleton and Jasper counties and tidal Berkeley County.

As much as 2-4 inches of rain is expected to continue through Wednesday morning with some locations receiving 5 inches of rainfall or more as now Tropical Depression Beryl moves through the area. Flooding risk is highest at high tide at 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to the NWS statement.
