Numerous roads were closed in the afternoon and evening Tuesday as heavy rains and high tides impacted Charleston streets. It's clear that threat continues Wednesday as showers and scattered thunderstorms continue.
"Although slightly less moisture is available today compared to yesterday, tide levels will be slightly higher," the NWS watch notes.
