Freezing Temperatures To Blow Through Tonight
Overnight lows will dip a few degrees below freezing, but wind chill will make it feel like the mercury is in the teens

CHARLESTON - Temperatures will begin dropping tonight as an arctic cold front pushes into the Lowcountry.Â
Overnight the low is predicted to drop a few degrees below freezing before the sun comes up again tomorrow, according to the Weather Channel. However winds of 15-30 MPH will make it feel significantly colder with a windchill value predicted to be as low as 15 degrees.
Today the high temperature will top out at about 56 degrees. The low is expected to bottom out at 27 degrees with wind gusts of up to 33 MPH. And the cold weather will stick around through Tuesday with the high tomorrow predicted to only reach 41 degrees and the low Tuesday night expected to hit 23 degrees, though the wind is supposed to have died down by then as well, and is expected to be blowing at only 3-8 MPH.

Things will start to warm up again on Wednesday with a high of 50 degrees predicted and the low remaining a degree above freezing at 33 Wednesday night. By the weekend temperatures are expected to reach highs in the 60s again.
