- A Friday shooting in North Charleston resulted in one man being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The shooting occurred at the Archdale Forest Apartments complex shortly before 9:00 p.m. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the department. (WCBD News 2)
- The Charleston health system has launched a series of programs designed to address burnout. The Medical University of South Carolina has launched its MUSC Resiliency Program to help relieve the feeling of isolation that the COVID-19 pandemic placed on some of its staff. HCA Healthcare and Trident's new programs are meant to emphasize the feeling of community while serving others. (Charleston Post Courier)
- The Charleston Catholic School is participating in Red Ribbon Week. The week-long event is meant to encourage students and educators to live a drug-free lifestyle. Red ribbons will be hung around the campus and a school assembly will be held. (Live 5 News WCSC)
