A new South Carolina Voter ID law looks increasingly like a long shot to affect the November general election.

The law, , was shot down by the justice department again on Monday. 

And on Tuesday, a lawsuit filed by South Carolina against the U.S. government received a new timetable.

The Associated Press reported today that on Tuesday the judges considering the case had reschedule oral arguments for the end of August.

Gov. Nikki Haley, a strong supporter of the new law, took to Facebook Tuesday and vowed to keep fighting: "We won't let this go."
