  1. As of Monday evening, Charleston Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating a missing man. Andrew Hyams was reported missing yesterday, Oct. 17. Hyams was last seen on James Island. Anyone with information about the missing man is asked to contact the department. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. The North Charleston Police Department has arrested and charged a man with exposing himself at a school bus stop. Joshua Coaxum has been charged with indecent exposure and has been booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center. The bus stop is used by elementary, middle, and high school students. There were students present during the incident. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. State Representative William Cogswell has announced his campaign for Mayor of Charleston. According to Cogswell, his top priorities as mayor would be addressing crime, flooding, infrastructure, and affordable housing. He has been endorsed by State Representative Wendell Gilliard and former House Representative Peter McCoy. (Holy City Sinner)
