The Senate 41 District lines have shifted since the previous special election to fill out the term left vacant when Glenn McConnell took over the Lieutenant Governor's office following the resignation of Ken Ard, so some of the precincts that were open in May will not be open Tuesday, however the same voters that were eligible to vote in the primary held in June for the new term beginning in January are eligible to cast a ballot Tuesday.
