Last Chance: To See Peter Max in Charleston

Charleston's always vibrant art scene serves up tons of work by great local artists and draws some of the best from around the world as well.

This weekend iconic Pop Artist Peter Max, who rose to prominence in the 1960s with colorful psychodelic works, will be in town for an exhibition at Karis Art & Design Gallery at 76 Wentworth St. Downtown.

The exihibition, which runs Thursday, April 26 through Sunday, April 29, will include his newest works. Max will make appearances at the gallery 7 - 10 p.m. Saturday and 12 - 3 p.m. Sunday; RSVPs are requested for the artist's appearaces, call 888-513-8385 or visit www.roadshowcompany.com.
