The security officers had detained Becoate inside the club after he was seen waving a gun around on the dance-floor. The CPD officers took custody of Becoate and searched him, allegedly finding several plastic baggies of drugs on him. Officers report recovering one bag full of marijuana, one bag containing six paper sleeves that each contained a white powder and one bag of multi-color pills shaped like skulls and cartoon characters. The powder in the second bag tested positive for Ecstasy, and the report states that Becoate told the officers the pills were also Ecstasy.
Also recovered from Becoate was a notebook containing several entries of names associated with dollar amounts, a cell phone and $92 cash. The firearm was a Stoeger Cougar 9mm, the report stated.
