Now Charleston Mayor Joe Riley and Coastal Conservation League Executive Director Dana Beach are sparring over the project, according to News2.
Beach called the recent decision by the to the project a "Ponzi scheme-type deal" and "virtually a payday loan," during a news conference on Wednesday.
