  1. North Charleston has announced the passing of the special assistant to the mayor, Raymond "Ray" H. Anderson, Jr. His passing was unexpected. He died while hiking in the mountains of North Carolina. He had been in the professional role for the last 26 years and oversaw nearly all of the city's capital projects. (Count On 2)
  2. The North Charleston Police Department is actively searching for a missing 16-year-old boy. Savion M. Holmes went missing from his Mazyck Road home on Sunday. Anyone with information about Holmes' whereabouts is asked to contact the department immediately. (Live 5 News)
  3. The Charleston Department of Housing and Development has partnered with Continuum of Care to apply for nearly half a million dollars in federal grant money. The city plans to use the grant money to add additional individuals to its homeless outreach team. The city will have to match $112,500 if the grant of $450,000 is approved. (Live 5 News)
