Here are the top three stories today in Charleston:
- Charleston City Councilman Jason Sakran will be hosting a community discussion related to pedestrian and auto safety. The discussion will be at the Charleston Charter for Math and Science's auditorium on Monday, Oct. 24 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will feature representatives from the Charleston Police Department, Charleston Traffic Department, and Charleston Moves. - The North Charleston Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Wednesday night. The incident occurred shortly after 11:15 p.m. on Bailey Drive. One man died from gunshot wounds obtained during the shooting. The department has detained a 37-year-old female suspect; no additional details have been released. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- Charleston Moves' 6th annual Pedal & Panache is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3. The popular event will be at The Bower at Edmund's Oast from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be live music, food, drinks, and a silent auction at the event. Click to get your tickets. (ABC NEWS 4)
