Pets of the Week: Sept. 2, 2012

The Charleston Animal Society helps pets find loving forever homes, here are some of the animals available for adoption now.

Bertie:

Hey there! My name is Bertie and I am a one and a half year old, Domestic Shorthair mix. I love stretching and doing cat yoga! Everyone always say I have the coolest colored paws they have ever seen. I enjoy a good back rub and am vocal to let you know if you’ve hit my sweet spot. If you need a yoga partner, then please contact my friends at the charlestonanimalsociety.org so we can work out together!

Bandit:

Hey folks! I’m Bandit and I am a Siberian Husky mix who is almost three years old. I love, love, love a deep, hard backrub! I have the coolest curly tail you will ever see. I am looking for a best friend so if you think that could be you, then please contact my friends at the charletsonanimalsociety.org for more information.

Missy:

Hey y'all! I'm Missy and I am a one year old American Staffordshire/Terrier mix. I love playing with toys and have an affinity to making people happy. I want to give everyone kisses and if you're lucky I may nibble your ear a bit. I dare you to come visit me and try not to smile...scratch that, I DOUBLE DOG DARE you!!! I can't wait to meet you! See you soon ;)

Kattie:

Hello, my name is Kattie. I am a seven year old, Domestic Shorthair mix. I am old and a bit overweight, but who isn’t nowadays? I love to eat and sleep! All I really want is a nice lap to lie on and a friend to pet me while I purr myself into nirvana. If you want to spoil this fat ol’ cat, then please contact my friends at the charlestonanimalsocity.org for more information about me.

Lila:

Hello, my name is Lila. I am a four year old, Labrador Retriever mix who has been on some hard times. I came into the shelter underweight and with heartworms. After I had a litter of puppies, my owners threw me out. I am almost back to complete health, but still need to take it easy for a month. If you have a big caring heart and can nurse me back to health, then I promise to love you forever and be the best friend I can possibly be to you. Please contact my friends at the charlestonanimalsociety.org for more information about me, friend.
