Photos of Believed Car Break-in Suspect Released

Charleston Police have released photos of a suspect in two car break-ins at East Shore Athletic Club on Dec. 3

Charleston police are investigating a pair of car break-ins at East Shore Athletic Club on Ashley River Road from Dec. 3.

On Thursday, officers released several photos of the man believed to be responsible for the crimes. The photos come from the video surveillance system of a Dorchester Road Sunoco gas station, where the suspect allegedly used a credit card that was stolen from one of the vehicles at ESAC.

The break-ins happened between 5:15 and 5:45 a.m. Dec. 3. One of victims was notified by her bank that her MasterCard had been used at the Sunoco on Dorchester Road at 5:45 a.m. that morning, according to a police report.
