Police Ask For Help Identifying Robbery Suspect
Unidentified man stole bank deposit bag from a Savannah Highway gas station
Update 6:19 p.m. Thursday March 8: Charleston Police have identified and issued a warrant for a West Ashley man accused of stealing a bank dposit bag from a Savannah Highway gas station on Wednesday.
A warrant for strongarm robbery has been issued on Corey Lamar Lee, 40, of 507 Parkdale Drive, according to a statement issued by Charleston Police.
The clerk working Wednesday night told police Lee grabbed the bank deposit bag off the counter in the store and fled.

Police ask anyone with information about Lee to call the department at 577-7434, or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

At about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, the man described as a black male between 35-50 years old with a heavy build and a salt and pepper goatee, grabbed a bank deposit bag sitting on the counter at the gas station and ran out.
Police ask anyone with information about the crime to call the department at 577-7434, or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
