Woman Robbed At Knifepoint

CHARLESTON - Around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, a woman reported being robbed at knifepoint by an unknown assailant after parking her car on Lango Avenue, according to a Charleston Police Department report.

The woman told officers the man approached her from behind, held a knife to her neck and demanded her purse. He then fled south down Savannah Highway.

CHARLESTON - Between Dec. 2 and Dec. 7, 2011, someone stole a 3.5 ton air conditioning unit from a home under construction on Jaywood Circle. The estimated value of the unit is $4,000.
