Woman Raped In Her West Ashley Home

CHARLESTON - A woman living on 5th Avenue in West Ashley told police that an ex-boyfriend came to her home around 4 a.m. Saturday and raped her. He later left around 10 a.m., according to a Charleston Police Department report.

Woman Robbed While Walking Home

CHARLESTON - A West Ashley woman reported being robbed near 1332 Ashley River Road by an unknown assailant a few minutes after midnight Sunday, according to a Charleston Police Department report.

The woman said she was walking home from work when the unknown, armed man approached her and demanded her purse. The report did not specify what type of weapon was used.
