Assault by Potted Plant

Charleston County Sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance call on Hazel Road on Sept. 26 and found a man bleeding from cuts to both sides of his head, after an acquaintance hit him with a potted plant.

The man was transported to Roper St. Francis Hospital for treatment but declined to press charges. He told officers the two men, who had each informed law enforcement on the other were settling old scores.
