Police: Charleston Man Moons USC-LSU Fans

A Gamecock fan was arrested at the game Saturday night after fans complained about the man's vulgar language and sagging pants.

A Carolina moon hung at LSU's Death Valley Saturday night.

Fans who had traveled to see the Gamecocks take on the Tigers, got a show in addition to the game.

A Charleston man mooned the crowd as he was being escorted from Tiger Stadium by Baton Rouge police, according to a report by The Advocate. Fans in Section 409 reported the raucous fan to police due to his vulgar language and sagging pants, the paper reported.

Charles Hattaway, 34, of 27 Burns Lane, Apt. 306, Charleston, is charged with one count of obscenity, a misdemeanor. He was released from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Parish Prison on a $2,500 bond.

The Tigers defeated the Gamecocks, 23-21.
