The Charleston Police Department is asking residents to help identify two people who broke into West Ashley Middle School on Sept. 30

Charleston Police on Thursday released photos of two people who allegedly broke into West Ashley Middle School last month, and asking for residents' help in identifying the pair.

School officials found the Teachers' Lounge in disarray and various items scattered around the school Monday, Oct. 1, according to a police report. They were able to provide police with a copy of surveillance video showing two people in the school around 4:30 a.m. Sept. 30. One was a white male, 17 to 25 years old, wearing a black "The Dude" T-shirt and gray shorts; the other was a white female, 17 to 25 years old wearing a black shirt, black jeans and black boots.

The video shows the pair walking through the halls carrying various items out of the Teachers' Lounge and leaving them on the floor before exiting. It is unclear how the pair were able to enter the school, according to the report.
